What about makeup?
Evening makeup works best for formal looks, while a natural and fresh appearance is great for casual looks. Make sure your make-up is well blended, especially at the jawline. Emphasis should always be on the eyes, as they are the gateway to your soul. Bring lip gloss, etc. and always be yourself!
How to avoid a bad hair day!
This is not the time to experiment. Style your hair in a fashion that you are comfortable with. Haircuts should have a chance to grow out a bit. Soft and manageable will photograph better than stiff and wet. Guys, make sure you watch out for the “five o’clock shadow”. Just be yourself!
Jewelry?
Again, simplicity is the answer. Delicate chains, pearls, and personal gifts are fine. These will not produce a reflection that can take away from your portraits as shiny, bigger jewelry will.
Clothing?
Bring a variety and I will help you pick the items that will photograph the best with each background or location. |
